My Story

My name is Cristina, born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina.  I come from a traditional family of three daughters, of which I am the youngest. My father, a successful professional accountant, was protective with a strong personality and he was in control of everything. For the other side, my mother was caring but suffering from depression and she was constantly with medical treatments. This experience in my childhood gave me the strength and spirit to overcome any obstacles that I would face in life.  Unfortunately, I lost my two parents when I was in my twenties and they were in their fifties. I believe when you know what suffering means you can understand others with their emotional issues and difficult times.

From an early age, I have had a passion for creativity and to live a life that was aligned to my values.  I have always loved animals as do all Sagittarians, in particular dogs and horses, which led me to study to become a Vet at the University of Veterinary Science in Buenos Aires.  During this time, I assisted in animal surgery and from one particular experience with a horse, my mind opened up and I wondered about how I could help serve and alleviate pain for humans.  I was inspired and began my studies to become a Scrub Nurse.

I completed my studies as Scrub Nurse and graduated from Rivadavia Hospital which facilitates many types of Surgery including Cardiology, Neurology, Traumatology, Gynaecology, Ophthalmology, Plastic Surgery, General Surgery and more. I was privileged to work with Dr Rene Favaloro's cardiology team and Dr. Raul Matera’s leading brain surgery team, who are both worldwide pioneers in their respective specialities. These experiences as a nurse transformed my soul and made me more compassionate and understanding towards people who were suffering and in pain.

In addition to my passion for people, my other goal in life was to become a great, loving and caring mum. As part of this journey, I eventually moved to Patagonia after I got married, where my four amazing sons could grow up in a natural and peaceful environment.   However, challenging times with my marriage and ongoing corruption within the Argentinian Government, motivated me to move to New Zealand with my four sons to start a new life. This chapter was particularly challenging for me, as I was away from family, my ex-husband and in a completely different culture and language, raising my sons by myself. However, after eight years living in New Zealand, we moved to Australia which we are now proud to call home.

Through all these years and going through the various chapters of my life, I was fortunate to have learnt Reiki, Meditation,Yoga and Wellbeing/Beauty Therapy in Argentina.   Having these trainings and knowledges not only gave me strength and inner peace for my own spiritual journey, but it also allowed me to support the wellbeing of the body and mental health of others along the way.

This has been my journey and people are my passion, and I will continue to embrace new experiences and new skills - never stop learning because life never stops teaching.
